The project consists of the creation of a media library in downtown Lodève on an area of 1 356 m² (in the heart of the city’s political district). This equipment is located on the site of the former high school Joseph Vallot. The project sits in the existing building by organising itself as a fan around the tower of a patio. This project will: — To equip the city with a modern and user-friendly media library capable of providing an improved service to the population of the territory and to develop its activities on the territory. — To reclassify a heritage site, thereby ensuring its preservation while giving it a new future. — To contribute to the change in the image of the neighborhood. This project is the first phase of a cultural hub whose aim is to bring together a new media library and a theatre on the same site.
