FED INV FCT 17P04770 — REGIONAL INDEXING PLATFORM 2.018 (PLAIR 2.018) — UNIVERSITY OF ROUEN

The PIaIR 2.018 project aims to value the results of the PIaIR 2.0 project currently under implementation (2013-2016) and labeled by the LMN RRG. The focus is on the development of advanced demonstrators in three areas: — Health information — Transport law — Digital humanities. The resources requested relate to the human means of engineering for the development of demonstrators. PIaIR 2.0 as well as PIaIR 2.018 take over the key initiated 2010 objective of capitalising the results of research carried out in the digitisation and indexing of documents in the context of various projects whose funding has already been acquired, by integrating them into a common and sustainable software platform: the Regional Indexing Platform (PIaIR). PIaIR 2.0 has focused on taking into account usages and users clans a Web 2.0 approach. The aim is therefore to offer generic services within a web platform, which will be distributed according to different uses and modes of interaction with end users.1-Positioning in the CPIER Vallée de SeineThe DIGITAL PARIS NORMANDIE project is one of the four projects selected under the CPIER Vallée de Seine. Part of the project entitled Digital Workshop addresses these issues by proposing a shared interregional infrastructure integrated into a highly innovative smart digitisation project. This “workshop” is intended to address both current and more complex needs for the digitisation of books, documents intended for the exploitation of smart digitisation. PIaIR 2.018 contributes to the digital workshop of DIGITAL PARIS NORMANDIE by taking into account the “Scan on Request” component of the workshop. PIaIR 2.018 receives support from the state of 250 KEUR.2-Positioning in the Normande-Site project of the Normandy University Commission in response to the call for projects of the Investment Program of Future 2, the ComUE Normandie University is currently submitting a proposal from I-SITE (Science, Innovation, Territory, Economics Initiative). This proposal includes three research themes, one of which is entitled Digital, Culture, Memory, Heritage. The smart digitisation of documents is one of the three Areas of Strategic Actions of Excellence (DASE) of this theme. All the research and enhancements developed within PIaIR are fully integrated into this theme.3-Positioning within the FR 3638 CNRS NormaSTICNormastic is the research federation in the field of STICs, certified by the CNRS since 1 January 2014. It brings together researchers and teachers from GREYC UMR Laboratories CNRS 6072 and LITIS EA 4108. The research carried out under PIaIR is part of the Data, Learning, Knowledge of NormaSTIC axis and contributes significantly to the field of application Digital Document of the federation.4-Positioning within the EDF 4137 IRIFISL’IRIHS is a research federation in the field of Human and Social Sciences that brings together the 13 human and social sciences laboratories of the University of Rouen.
