The composite fibre structures and vegetal GRranulates project (TIGRE) is part of the SRI-SI in the field of: “Aging and performance of materials” (3.3.1.). It is also consistent with the criteria of the 2016 PAA GRR EEM, the Materials Network. The part of the TIGRE project to which the University of Le Havre is committed is an action in university research concerning agroresource materials based on fibres and plant aggregates. The aim is to develop the modeling and characterisation of vegetable fibre structural materials, vegetable aggregate expanded materials and sandwiches combining these two materials. Different development techniques will be tested and optimised and characterisation will concern mechanical, physico-chemical and aging properties.
