The partners of the SéSa network have acquired knowledge and skills enabling a strong identification of this regional network on problems related to the health safety of products and their microbiological and toxicological containment mainly. The SéSa network is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment acquired during the previous CPER allowing access to very high-level analytical requirements. The creation of this technical platform of microbiology and toxicology today allows the search for trace molecules and the analysis of the effect of these molecules on microorganisms, animal or plant cells or tissues, which are a major asset for research and a great interest for industrialists in their search for innovation and safety. In parallel with these equipment, a second technical platform of innovative high-level decontamination technologies is available and continues to evolve according to any new technology that may be of interest to industrial partners. To date, it brings together a set of equipment and gives national and international visibility on the theme of innovative decontamination technologies. This attractiveness is confirmed by the report “key technologies 2015” drawn up by the Ministry of Industry, which identifies the action of the Agro-Hall TRC and its partners as significant nationally for new decontamination technologies applied to the health and well-being food sector. The relevance of this technological platform is also relayed at European level by the decision to establish photonic technologies as KETs (Key Enabling Technologies). The whole of these trays are used within a consortium managed by the Evreux Technology Platform, “Normandie Sanitaire Security”. This structure is responsible for the valorisation of work on health security and its dissemination in favour of the training of students, trainers and industrialists. The advancement of knowledge leads to the search for new technologies increasingly adapted to the needs and makes it possible to envisage the transfer of research to the industrial world. At this level and for at least several years, the coupling and the combination of innovative technologies are part of our programmes, and equipment manufacturers are now seeking testing sites such as those offered through the SéSa network’s technology platforms. To complement this multi-year project proposal, many projects initiated earlier are currently being developed: The network will be identified in the region by the Centre de Sécurité Sanitaire de Normandie (PRT 27), located in a high-tech building with a biological safety laboratory of type L3, which will be delivered in March 2015. The provision of this package will strengthen the network’s image in the socio-economic world. It should be noted that the Evreux site is now clearly identified as part of the Strategic Action Domain (DAS) Packaging-Microbiology-Toxicology by the Cosmetic Valley Competitiveness Pole.
