In order to meet the needs of every traveller, public and private actors today offer a varied mobility offer in Normandy, which is enriched by the pace of innovation and adapts to new habits: rail network, urban and interurban bus and tram networks, private car, transport on demand services, carpooling, car sharing, relay car parks, bicycle-sharing and bicycle rental services, taxis, transport vehicles with drivers, autonomous vehicles, bicycle buses (school cycling), electric charging stations, etc. in addition, local, national or international applications and web portals, including regional balance trains, airports, ferries, etc., make the various offers available in Normandy unevenly and incompletely: Google Maps, SNCF application, Commentjyvais.fr, Astuce application (in Rouen), Twisto application (in Caen), LiA application (in Le Havre), Rome2Rio, Blablacar... without any fully covering the demand of all users. For public transport, the most comprehensive tool in the region is the multimodal information system (MIS) Commentjyvais.fr piloted by Atoumod, which since 2016 covers the entire Norman territory: it aggregates all data from Norman public transport networks and offers searches for single-modal and multimodal itineraries to all users, including carbon balances of public transport and soft modes, displayed in comparison with car journeys. In addition to providing information to travellers, the Syndicat mixte Atoumod has also implemented the Atoumod card as part of its expertise. Gradually deployed on the various partner networks since 2012, it allows today to load all the tickets and subscriptions of 17 Norman transport partner networks:- Norman trains (TER and Intercités),- intercity buses in Seine-Maritime, Calvados and the Eure,- all urban networks in Seine-Maritime (Rouen, Le Havre, Dieppe, Fécamp, Bolbec/Lillebonne and Yvetot)- all urban networks in the Eure (Evreux, Vernon, Louviers/Val-de-Reuil and Pont-Audemer),- as well as in Calvados the networks of Caen, Lisieux and Coutances. In addition, the Syndicat mixte Atoumod is at the initiative of multi-network tariffs charged on the Atoumod map, currently deployed in four areas between Rouen and Évreux, which will extend at the beginning of 2020 on the main railway routes of Normandy. The Syndicat mixte Atoumod now wants to link travel information and the sale of titles/subscriptions in the form of a laboratory for “manufacturing tomorrow’s mobility” and a personal mobility assistant, in line with MaaS (Mobility as a Service). The laboratory will be open to all actors wishing to contribute to the improvement of information and access to all forms of mobility: operators, entrepreneurs, designers, developers, etc.The personal mobility assistant will take the form of an application integrating all the services that can accompany the neophyte from end to end of the journey: taking information based on the most basic search criteria, comparison of all modes in real time, individualised pricing advice, acquisition of products immediately usable on mobility services, but also on leisure, culture and tourism services, real-time guidance throughout the trip, and possibility to participate in a collaborative way in the compilation of travel information data. These services will be deployed through the partnerships that will be organised around the lab and platform.
