DISSEMINATION OF OPEN DISTANCE NURSING AND MASSEUR-KINESITHERAPEUTIC (FOAD) COURSES ON THE RODEZ AND ST GAUDENS SITES

The CHU Toulouse schools, in order to meet the economic needs of the territories, have opened in the delocalised sites of Rodez and Saint-Gaudens to provide training for the diploma d’Etat d’Infirmier (Institut de Formation en Nursiers — IFSI) and training in the State Diploma of Masseur Kinesitherapist (Institut de Formation en Masso-Kinésithérapie — IFMK). These two re-engineered formations under the LMD (Licence-Master-Doctorat) are part of the Bologna Agreements. At the end of their training, students obtain the State Diploma and jointly the degree of Bachelor’s degree. The training framework which leads to the State Diploma for a Bachelor’s degree requires that part of the training be carried out by teachers designated by the coordinating university. Several categories of teachers are likely to be involved in training. The coordinating University is committed to at least one third of its stakeholders being academics. The main interest of this project, in addition to its exemplarity, is that it is based on the new teaching methods of distance learning (e-learning, videoconferencing, etc.) designed to enable students from these off-site sites to receive the same teaching, with the same pedagogical quality and the same trainers as those of the schools of the CHU in Toulouse.
