2018 — INSA — LISBP — CRITT GPTE — DEMETHA — Readynov Energy Transition

DEMETHA responds to the theme "Energy Transition: from the development of NRAs to industrial change" providing solutions in the fields of energy, waste management and the circular economy. It aims at the development of a French biological methanation technology, supported by the company ENOSIS. Organic methanation is part of the support lines for the production of methane of tomorrow (pyrogasification, biogas and power to gas). DEMETHA is the first biological methanation project in the operational environment in France involving ENOSIS, INSA, Trifyl and Terega. DEMETHA must make it possible to change the maturity of the technology. The stakes are multiple:  The change of scale;  Intensification of the reaction  Adaptation of the process to the different sources of gas (biogas, syngas): study of the biological impact of impurities on microorganisms  Unit integration and steering: coordinated control of the unit’s various bricks (electrolysor, compressor, methanation, etc.), study of synergies between methanisation and methanation processes.
