The operation concerns the studies, construction and start-up of an agricultural and collective methanisation unit in the territory of Fontrailles (Hautes-Pyrénées). This unit will produce 2.5 million Nm3 of gas injected into the network, a digestate whose characteristics promote improved agronomic practices. The recovery and use of 3,419 tonnes of CO2 after gas cleaning limits emissions into the atmosphere. 76 farmers are involved in the project and 47 farms/farmers are shareholders. All farms are located within a radius of less than 15 km of the project and some are in the Gers department. The unit will process 71 777 tonnes of deposits (effluent and plant biomass). The estimated dates for the operation are from 10/01/2014 to 30/06/2022.
