Creation of a service house for the population Faubourg d’Isle

The City of Saint-Quentin has decided to create a service house for the population in the former cinema “Le Casino”. This building has been owned by the City since 2012 and is located in the priority district of Faubourg d’Isle. The project consists of the rehabilitation and restructuring of a building built in the 1920s and currently unoccupied to assign it a new destination and new functions, aimed at improving the reception of services to the public living in the neighbourhood and the development of the community life of the neighbourhood. This operation is the most important and emblematic of the operations carried out as part of a global project for the requalification of the neighbourhood, registered in the National Programme for the Requalification of Degraded Old Quarters (PNRQAD), and called “Faubourg d’Isle en futur 2011-2017”.
