The project is divided into two successive tranches, one for the period 2015-2017 and the second for the period 2018-2020. This case deals with tranche 1. The project, carried out jointly with INRA, aims to consolidate the activity of the CRB (Centre for Biological Resources) Production and Animal Health (PSA), in the areas of: I/quality assurance; III/Management of the CRB Information System; IV/the preservation, recruitment and increment of collections; v/the characterisation of these collections. This reinforcement will strengthen the certification of the activities of the CRB NFS 96-900, as well as the IBISA label acquired in 2013. These standards and labels are essential to participate in international research projects, such as the CRB-Anim network (PIA1 — future investment programme) or to support infrastructure such as the OIE global reference laboratory for cowdriosis and the accredited veterinary diagnostic laboratory COFRAC ISO17025. The aim is to position this equipment firmly as a reference space in the Caribbean basin and be recognised at national, regional and international level.
