This partnership project is presented under the ERDF OP’s call for collaborative research projects 2014-2020, tranche 1. Led jointly by INRA, CIRAD, the Institut Pasteur de Guadeloupe and the University of the West Indies (LAMIA, C3MAG and C3I), this project has been scientifically evaluated. It was the subject of a second reading for clarifications and additions. The coordinator is CIRAD. Its main objective is to improve the control of human, animal and plant infectious diseases in Guadeloupe and throughout the Caribbean by federating the Guaadeloupean institutions mobilised infectiology around cross-cutting issues and common approaches. By 2020, the project aims to make Guadeloupe the reference at the level of the Caribbean basin, around the concept of an “island/region/health”.
