The project aims to continue the rise of the charming hotel “Le Relais du Moulin”, bought by the LORET group in 2016. It is an establishment of 60 rooms and suites, located on a landscaped park of 2 hectares dominated by a sugar cane mill classified as a historic monument, in the commune of Sainte-Anne. Overall, the aim is to adapt accommodation and services to the new criteria of the 4-star hotel classification benchmark and to increase the quality of accommodation with quality facilities. The investment programme will include the modernisation of rooms and suites, outdoor renovation, accessibility works for people with reduced mobility and the rehabilitation of the swimming pool. The total eligible cost of the operation is EUR 1006000. The ERDF amount allocated is EUR 301,800 (30 %), for a regional grant proposal of EUR 1 200 (20 %). The holder intervenes in the amount of EUR 503 000 (50 %) justified by two bank loans from BPI France totalling EUR 600 000.
