Upgraded to the range of the Village La Caravelle by a renovation and extension program — CARAVELLE 2019 PHASE 1

Present in some 40 countries around the world, including ours, Club Med has made a strategic turn to position itself on the top of the range for 10 years and has undertaken a major renovation project for its 70 villages, including that of the 4-star caravelle in Sainte-Anne, the ultimate construction site. The objective is the development of the site by its extension and its rise to the range within the framework of virtuous environmental behaviour, in order to better meet the requirements of international customers. Specifically, this project consists of the renovation of existing products and infrastructures (299 accommodation, restaurant and common areas) and the extension of the village through the creation of 130 rooms and related tourist products. A first filing under the Synergie database number GP0017378 was made for the overall project with a total cost of EUR 33,565 900, but given the scope of the project, it was divided into two phases. This operation, which constitutes the first tranche, amounts to EUR 17 810 466 for an ERDF proposal of EUR 5 million (27.9 %), which respects the aid intensity of 45 % for this company which is in the category of large companies due to its staff of 3,799 people, its CA of EUR 1.527 billion for 2017 and its net income of 36 million for 2017. The aid granted will be backed by the aid scheme SA 39252.C
