CREATION OF A DRINKING WATER DISCHARGE PIPE BETWEEN L’UPEP DE PERRIN AND THE BOISVIN RESERVOIRS

Currently, the Miquel plant is the only drinking water production unit of CAP Excellence that also purchases treated water from SIAEAG to supplement its needs. In order to meet the future needs related in particular to the significant developments planned in the Perrin area, including the future University Hospital Centre (CHU) of Guadeloupe, a new drinking water potabilisation unit (UPEP) is being created in the north of the site of the future CHU. This UPEP will feed the Boisvin floor, whose two head tanks are currently fully supplied by purchase of water at SIAEAG (via the Belle-Eau-Cadeau feeder). Thus, the installation of a treated water supply line between the Perrin UPEP and the two Boisvin tanks will make it possible to secure the supply of the subscribers served by the Boisvin tanks (by filling them) and to anticipate future needs.
