Madin’Expo is a biennial operation to promote local production that was relaunched by the CCIM in 2014, with all the partners involved in the support, promotion and structuring, productive services and value creators in Martinique: Industry, Services, Agriculture, Crafts, Culture and Arts and ICT. The 2016 edition of Madin’Expo took place for 5 days during the second half of June 2016 (from 08 to 12 June) with the theme “Energy transition and sustainable development”. The event provides for: •Exhibition of products and services, but also of know-how (demonstrations, pedagogical workshops, etc.); • Parallel organisation of conferences for the general public; • Organisation of visits and business meetings with buyers selected by CCIM (a delegation of 8 to 10 national buyers will be present to discover the products and thus allow exhibiting companies to meet potential prospects); •A rich and varied animation program; •Contribution of EGC and CFA Tertiaire students to the promotion and organisation of the event (in particular to promote the promotion of industrial professions); •Monitoring of business relationships initiated at the trade fair; •Survey on the consumption habits of visitors to the fair.
