In the light of a 47 % unemployment rate for young people under 30 years of age in Martinique, the aim is to set up an operation aimed at the return to employment of young people experiencing difficulties in integrating temporarily or sustainably into the labour market. Young people from the north of Martinique are particularly affected by endemic unemployment, which is increasing with handicaps linked to transport, remoteness from economic zones and a delay in development which leaves them with little chance. Thus, through the action put in place by the MLNM, 30 young people from the North of Martinique will be assisted in the creation of their businesses in the five strategic sectors (1- Agro-transformation, 2- Tourism, 3- Silver economy, 4- Digital, 5- Resources related to biodiversity-waste-renewable energies). This will provide an opportunity for job creation and thus contribute to lowering the very high youth unemployment rate in Martinique and especially in the North of Martinique.
