Public consultations have been launched to retain providers for the implementation of the 2017 vocational training actions. The application for a grant from the European Social Fund therefore concerns the ‘Professional Training Programme — PFP’, which will start in 2017 and which is aimed at young people between 16 and 25 years of age enrolled in Local Missions and the Employment Pole, young people between 26 and 30 years of age enrolled in the Employment Pole, persons with disabilities who are jobseekers who are eligible for employment under Article L5212-13 of the Labour Code. It was agreed to include for this application the actions which fall under the five strategic streams of the ESF Operational Programme 2014-2020. All beneficiaries of these actions receive remuneration from trainees in vocational training. The remuneration shall be included in the total cost of the operation. The Community has strategic tools that identify and advocate recommendations for the employment needs of the territory. Thus, the training offer offered by the Local Government of Martinique takes into account the changing needs of the declining professions and the new skills to be acquired and expected by the world of work.
