The Rivière l’Or district, bounded by the county road of Ravine Vilaine and the municipal road of Post Colon, is supplied with drinking water from two tanks of 10 m³. These tanks are filled with a pump at the fire tank, which is fed by the drinking water production plant in Caféière. The distribution network of the sector consists mainly of galvanised pipes placed on the shoulders on the ground. The fragility of the network causes numerous breaks that disrupt the power supply. Some 20 cases have been recorded on the sector since 2017. Leaks are mostly apparent, the network being placed on the ground. Losses are estimated at several tens of m³ per month. In order to overcome the operating constraints associated with an ageing and no longer meeting the standards, it was decided to rethink the supply of drinking water to the sector in the light of the hydraulic equipment put in place in the area in recent years. The work consists of: — renew the drinking water distribution network on a 2 426 ml line, — switch the distribution network to the Tivoli/Rodate reservoir, — drop the 2 tanks of 10 m³ each of supply to the district, — take over the connections of about a hundred subscribers and connect the antennas to the new distribution network.
