IUT C is currently located in the former Roubaix post. Faced with a lack of surfaces and obsolescence of the premises, the IUT C will be rebuilt on the station site, which will allow us to anticipate its development by equipping it with scalable, adaptable and modular equipment. The living environment of all users will be improved by the development of quality spaces adapted to each individual’s needs. This relocation will also strengthen the identity of the IUT as a genuine tertiary campus open to the local economic fabric, within a new neighbourhood. Finally, the University of Lille Droit et Santé wishes with this building to offer a real demonstrator of the Rev3 dynamics, by designing efficient and innovative equipment from an energy and environmental point of view, with low operating and operating costs and contributing fully to the low-carbon objectives of the Hauts de France Region. Based on regulatory thermal calculations, the university estimated an annual saving of 317 988 kWh per square metre and 40 tonnes of CO2 compared to standard construction.
