The IRICL project was selected by the State and the Region within the framework of the CPER 2015-2020 under the Higher Education, Research and Innovation Component/Objective “Attractivity and Competitiveness”/“Interdisciplinary Research”, through its role in strengthening research of excellence in the field of cancer. This project is positioned in perfect fit with the Strategic Activity Area “Health — Food” of the Research Innovation Strategy for Intelligent Specialisation. It aims to respond to scientific challenges in medical biology, according to a work programme which is divided into four research axes: therapeutic focus, diagnosis and prognosis, fundamental and surgical.
