By adopting the #Résolument Digital Strategy, the MEL wanted to make digital a vehicle for the development of a successful and resilient metropolis for the development of the territory, a civic and creative metropolis and an open and strategically positioned metropolis internationally. MEL is submitting a new ERDF grant application for the period from September 2017 to August 2019, with the intention to develop 11 projects to compare the will of the players in the cities of Marcq-En-Baroeul, Lille, Lomme, Roubaix and Tourcoing: 1. The first component is directly linked to the digital strategy: its animation and the innovation community of the Grand Barouf Digital. 2. The second part is linked to the animation of the actors in the territory and integrates: digital Thursdays and the structuring of a network of metropolitan third parties. 3. A third component is linked to the digital transition of the administration. Shared between several municipalities of the MEL with a vocation to extend to the whole metropolitan area it integrates 2 projects: E-administration and Opendata. 4. A fourth component to foster inclusive innovation: the laboratory LIVE and MEL is sport. 5. A fifth strand, linked to culture, with two projects at the territorial level: Digital Arts and Cultures (PACN) and Culture and Digital. 6. Finally, a sixth strand on the digital transition of merchants with Enjoy-MEL.
