This project will therefore allow the thermal rehabilitation of 64 dwellings. In total, the 118 individual dwellings constituting the Cité du Parc in Méricourt will be rehabilitated, but only 64 homes will be able to achieve the energy performance of 94 kWh/m²/year and can be financed under the ERDF. These units were put into service in the 1920s. The treatment of this mining city is diminished as part of the commitment to the renewal of the Northern Mining Basin and Pas-de-Calais. Thermal rehabilitation works include: thermal insulation of dwellings (insulation by the interior of the main body and secondary buildings, insulation of ceilings of floors and extensions, insulation of upper floors of cellars and stairwells); replacement of all exterior carpentry in the main and secondary building (with roller shutters); replacement of entrance and kitchen doors with insulating doors; the replacement of cellar doors with insulating doors; partial replacement of boilers and total refurbishment of heating networks, radiators and thermostats; installation of a new controlled mechanical ventilation. Further work to improve the comfort of the accommodation is planned, as well as work on the furnishing of outdoor spaces.
