Located in the heart of the European Transit networks, the port of Santes will take advantage of both the redeployment of the activities of Ports de Lille, and the CCI’s desire to develop the use of sustainable freight transport, in a strategy of intermodality and pollution reduction, to affirm its place in the network of regional multimodal public platforms. To do this Ports de Lille plans to deploy a 47.000 m² port platform including a river dock and a branched terminal facility. In addition, this operation is carried out in conjunction with the deployment of another multimodal platform in the port of Béthune, which will lead to the hiring of 6 employees.
