Integration site workshop for the maintenance and restoration of the hydraulic continuity of wetlands

This project consists of the training, as part of the restoration of a wetland, of persons wishing to become professionally integrated in the field of land management in a natural environment, but also to obtain a qualified human resource in the maintenance of these areas, a professional sector currently unsaturated. It is therefore a large-scale support of social utility to remobilise and qualify people in difficulty for their social and sustainable integration. The project is structured around three axes: \- Theoretical training axis: the main training of the integration group will focus on the maintenance of rural areas, in particular wetlands (beds and banks of rivers, canals and ponds), taking into account the specificities of the sites. \- Production axis: this involves putting into practice the elements educated in theoretical training and learning how to adapt to the realities of the field. \- Axis Supporting Socio-Professional (ASP) This integration workshop is proposed for the training of people, but also to give a social dimension to the project entitled “Maintenance and restoration of the hydraulic continuity of wetlands” to meet the environmental quality requirements of a nature reserve. A choice that is explained by the fact that through this means there is a demonstrated willingness to get out of the immediately employable trainees. Theoretical training can be applied instantly in the field with concrete scenarios taking into account learning conditions adapted to each individual. This AIT will also allow us to intervene at the level of the participants’ sociability. Moreover, social support, an integral part of the ACI, will help to lift the brakes on the remobilisation of the participants. In addition, the ASP is responsible for the remuneration of participants in return for the work performed on the basis of their attendance.
