In order to cope with the relative increase in unemployment and in partnership with the city of Sainte-Marie, ADIIE is continuing its efforts to implement tools capable of responding to social demand, particularly with regard to employment. Its Atelier Chantier d’Insertion “Development of a tourist trail 2016-2017” which concerns 10 long-term job seekers proposes to enhance an existing tourist trail with a view to assigning it an identity whose theme will have a dominant Amerindian. This new tool allows ADIIE to pursue its diversification policy by making its production sites places for agritourism visits and ecotourism practices, both for young and adult audiences wishing to reclaim the plant heritage and related knowledge. It thus extends the skills of participants in agroforestry and biodiversity, new job niches. This operation maintains the experience of ADIIE in internalising individualised socio-professional support more efficiently in solving the difficulties encountered by the participants. This accompaniment is complemented by the preparation of credit units necessary for the CAPA of multi-purpose forestry worker, graduate training.
