Dijon Métropole accompanies the local policies of dynamisation of the city centres of the municipalities of its territory who want to give back the place to pedestrians and modernise their urban landscape. In Longvic, a new square of about 2 000 m², entirely dedicated to pedestrians, will be built in the heart of the city, fluidising and promoting the development of gentle modes in its surroundings. The Burgundy stone will be used as floor covering and some twenty trees will be planted, thus meeting the objectives of improving the attractiveness of the commune, combating global warming and reducing air pollution.
