The present operation involves the acquisition and installation of a 6 Kw fiber laser cutting machine, replacing a non-automated 5 Kw CO2 laser cutting machine acquired in 2003. This renewal of the production tool is made necessary due to the numerous and regular evolutions of laser cutting and laser powers. This new fiber laser machine will have the function of cutting sheet metal drops greater than 4 mm, and will have an augmented reality option to arrange the parts to be cut on a work drop. It will also be equipped with a simple automation allowing cutting during the night. This investment will allow the company to reach new markets and set a course of development. Indeed, the new machine will have a cutting capacity of 25 mm aluminium (compared to 15-20 mm today). It is also more efficient and less energy intensive (electricity consumption divided by 6 and cutting gas consumption divided by 2). This investment will be financed by two bank loans from Crédit Agricole Centre Loire and Banque Populaire Bourgogne Franche-Comté. The Burgundy-Franche-Comté Regional Council and the Nevers Agglomeration Community are also asked to accompany this project.
