Rehabilitation of the Stade de la Côte Sainte Catherine

The operation aims to reclassify the stadium of the Côte Sainte Catherine, located on the edge of the priority area of the policy of the city of Côte Sainte Catherine in Bar-le-Duc, which has become obsolete. The aim is to offer an increased and better quality athletic offer, which improves the image of the neighbourhood and promotes social diversity. The work undertaken involves: the destruction of two covered tennis courts and the isolated outdoor court; the construction of a tennis pole comprising four indoor tennis courts with a club house (veestrians, sanitary facilities, user-friendliness area, office); the creation of a fourth outdoor tennis court; the development of the stadium (roadways, fences, gates), the construction of a storage building to store the products and equipment necessary for the maintenance of the stadium. The fitting-out of the guards’ changing rooms is ineligible because the work carried out does not satisfy the ERDF criterion on energy performance. This equipment benefits local schools and sports associations in the city. The operation is accompanied by a policy of broadening the practice of tennis to new audiences, drawing in particular on the associative actors of the district partners in the city contract.
