The CPER Observatoire Terre et Environnement de Lorraine project is based on the four research units that make up the Scientific Pole and the USO, which are Georessources, liec, CRPG and LSE. It aims to ensure sustainability and push the limits of quantitative analysis, which make Otelo’s scientific excellence in terms of Earth chemistry, and to develop and exploit instrumental and experimental devices aimed at knowing and managing resources It is organised around 3 axes: The objective of the Geochemical Platform axis is to improve the spatial and temporal knowledge of condensation, radiation-matter interaction and physico-chemical processes; formation and evolution of planetesimals, reoliths and protoplanets. The TRANSTER axis aims to allow isotopic tracing of large cycles and critical elements in geological environments. In the “surface resources” axis, where soil, water and the health-environment relationship are considered, we will rely on the Scientific, Technological and Observation Centre for the valorisation of degraded and polluted urban and industrial sites (GISFI) and the Moselle Basin Workshop Area (ZAM to improve our knowledge of the cycles of metallic and organic elements in surface processes, develop new isotopic tracers...
