TALiSMAN2 (Tannin and Carbon Materials and Metamaterials for Advanced Applications 2) is supported by the CNRS and complements the talisman project (UL management). TALiSMAN2 consists of developing new materials and metamaterials for advanced and strategic applications aimed at increasing innovation capacity in future sectors: (I) electrode materials (ii) materials for the management of energy in the habitat; (III) materials for the production and separation of hydrogen (iv) metamaterials; and (v) porous materials for adsorption. TALiSMAN2 is a structuring project for research in Lorraine Region. TALiSMAN2 will be carried out by three laboratories: Ijl, LCPME and LRGP, representative of three strategic themes for the Lorraine region: materials, environment, and processes, respectively. The three laboratories have collaborated since 2016 in the production of electrode materials and in the production and separation of hydrogen. TALiSMAN2 is in line with the European valley of materials, energy and processes, one of the priority axes of the Lorraine Region. The funding of TALiSMAN2 is intended to support the research carried out by these three laboratories, and will at the same time increase the attractiveness of the Vosges territory where the premises of the IJL team participating in this project are located.
