Hydraulic works-Tranche farm- district of Cannes — PAPI

For the next 20 years, the city of Ajaccio has embarked on a dynamic of large-scale urban development and renewal. This dynamic is reflected, in particular, in the implementation of a vast Urban Renewal Programme (PRU) based on the National Urban Renovation Agency In the framework of the PRU, operations relating to the urban planning of the districts of Cannes and the Salines tend to take into account flood risk, particularly in the framework of the Flood Prevention Action Programme (PAPI). The PAPI of the city of Ajaccio was initiated to address flood risk more comprehensively, through actions combining hazard management and reducing the vulnerability of people, goods and territories. The PAPI foresees actions on several sectors of the municipality of Ajaccio, including the Cannes-Salines sector where the risk is high (flooding of May 2008) and vulnerable issues. This includes the renovation of underground networks to ensure the sustainability of urban surface development works, as well as the creation of a structuring hydraulic network as part of flood risk management. 3 operations relating to the execution of hydraulic works within the framework of the PRU of the Cannes district are planned. These are the following operations: ANRU 08.01 Rue Nicolas Peraldi, ANRU 08.04 Rue Achille Peretti, ANRU 08.08 Rue Moro Giafferi.
