The City of Ajaccio comprises 32 primary schools throughout its municipal territory, which are not or have little or no digital equipment. In order to adapt its school equipment to the digital revolution that is underway, the Commune d’Ajaccio wants all its schools — kindergarten and primary school — to have Digital Work Spaces (in each classroom, positioning an interactive digital board and providing mobile classes in each school) with the aim of enabling: •the pedagogical teams to undertake a diversification of the forms of teaching and learning in connection with the reforms undertaken (guidelines of the Law of 8 July 2013 for the reform of the School) in the education system, in particular concerning the teaching of the Corsican language; •the student’s mastery of an environment in which these technologies are increasingly present.
