The project to demolish the port sheds and protect docks by comfort, carried by Nantes Métropole, corresponds to part of the work to free the land base of the future CHU on the Ile de Nantes. It includes works and project management missions and preliminary studies on a first phase which concerns only the clean-up and deconstruction of the former port hangars followed by works to consolidate the former docks in order to strengthen them before the future CHU is hosted. The aim of the project is to make the area currently fallow, suitable for hosting an urban renewal project.
