The CGET is responsible for the coordination of the European Structural and Investment Funds provided for in Article 123 of the General Regulation of the European Union and under the Partnership Agreement, in conjunction with the Secretariat-General for European Affairs. Pursuant to Article 117(1) of the General Regulation, it is responsible for coordinating information and communication activities relating to one or more funds. In accordance with Article 72.2 of the ‘General Regulation’, SYNERGY, Information System (IS) for European Funds, composed of different applications with shared management, allows for the monitoring of funds, programmes and the Partnership Agreement during the 2014-2020 programming period. For the ERDF and the ESF, SYNERGIE is responsible for steering, monitoring, management, certification, control and audit. However, information systems may be set up by managing authorities for the management modules, steering, monitoring and certification of their programmes, while national control, audit and steering must be carried out in SYNERGIE. This operation covers the financing of the post of Presage-Synergie Programme Director and any related costs as well as the indirect costs associated with this post for the years 2016 to 2019.
