The project carried out by the Savoie LAPIERRE AND MARTIN sawmill involves, on the one hand, the installation of a log park capable of processing the 150 000 m³ envisaged, a complete circular canter sawing line and the sorting system for the recovery of related persons within the workshops, all for a forecast amount of EUR 6 150 000. At the end of this development, the SCIERIE DE SAVOIE LAPIERRE AND MARTIN will be one of the ten largest players in the French market for sawing. This national position will thus ensure its current referencing, but will also allow it to hope to develop new networks both in France and in export. This project is in full line with market expectations and its membership in the BOIS DES ALPES approach will help to remove a number of barriers to the use of regional timber by construction companies.
