Eco-touristic valorisation of the trails of the Natural Reserve of the gorges of Daluis: balcony of the gorges

The Daluis Gorge Nature Reserve is the first and only Nature Reserve of the Alpes-Maritimes located just 1h15 from the French Riviera. With an area of 1,082 hectares, it was created in October 2012 and is co-managed by the LPO PACA and the Communauté de communes Alpes d’Azur (CCAA). The natural setting offered by the grandiose and spectacular nature reserve is still little known but attracts more and more visitors. The main tasks of the Nature Reserve are to manage, protect and raise awareness of natural and geological heritage. The eco-tourism project for trails is part of these 3 missions: to encourage visitors to take the time to discover the site, to limit the number of trails visited, to value existing heritage. The offer would take the form of a balcony itinerary over the gorges offering a 3-day loop from Guillaumes or Daluis. This route would be available on a daily hike from each gate to the reserve.
