Thanks to an exceptional environment characterised by the presence of the National Park of the Ecrins, Espace Valléen Champsaur Valgaudemar has, over the past 20 years, been able to establish its position as a territory conducive to the practice of activities of nature. The offer to discover the territory on foot, by bike, by mountain biking, via ferrata, rafting etc. has been developed and structured throughout the territory. Today, this diversification, which has become the basis of the summer tourist attractiveness of the territory, requires a job of qualification and valorisation. Major sites of practice must be selected and adapted to the expectations of new customers, particularly with regard to the target of family/child customers, defined as a priority by the Espace Valléen strategy 2015-2020. In this context, it was decided to prioritise the action on hiking routes (pedestrian, mountain biking, biking, permanent orientation routes) and vertical activities.
