Development of the local flood risk management strategy: four urban projects

As part of the new Vichy agglomeration project, the recovery of urban areas near the Allier River and its main tributary, the Sichon, requires better consideration of flood risk. The operation submitted by Vichy Communauté is a diagnostic study that aims to better take into account the situation of 4 urban areas in flooding areas to better protect people and property and reduce their vulnerability to flooding. This study will feed into the Vichy Community Local Flood Risk Management Strategy (SLGRI) through a diagnosis of vulnerability to local flooding, and definitions of measures to reduce vulnerability. This operation is submitted under Action 1 of the ERDF Loire Basin POI.
