Tourist Valuation of the Chemin de Saint-Jacques — Geneva > Le Puy-en-Velay

All the public partners located along the GR65 between the banks of the Rhône and the Puy-en-Velay, the great start of the Jacquaire roaming in France, are committed to the valorisation of the GR65 Amont route passing through the great crus of the Rhône valley, the Regional Natural Park of Pilat, the high plateaus of the Velay, the volcanic sucs and the Meygal forest. With 130 kilometres corresponding to 7 days of roaming, the actors want to highlight this medium-mountain route which suffers a lack of awareness and attendance compared to the mythical path from the city of Puy-en-Velay. Frequented by local and international customers, this Regional Route benefits from an environment unknown to many local residents and can appear as a distant journey to the doorsteps of home.
