The Central Massif Parks Network (IPAMAC) wishes to support the territories of the Central Massif in the implementation of Payments for Environmental Services experiments. A problem common to these territories has been identified: the preservation of water quality. This project aims, over one year (October 2017 — October 2018/phase 1), to develop an economic model to implement an intervention tool that pays for an environmental service rendered. The tool created can be used by other jurisdictions, regardless of the local context. An experiment will be carried out, in the territory of a Regional Natural Park of the Massif Central, to test the economic model. This project will enrich knowledge about PES, share it and pool it with other actors in the Massif Central, with the aim of facilitating the deployment of other experiments.
