Reduction of agricultural vulnerability to floods in the Rhône — SARL La Reboule

This operation is part of the section to reduce the vulnerability of farms on Barthelasse Island to floods in the Rhône, carried out by the Rhone Plan 2015-2020. The SARL LA boule-Cappeau is one of these farms. Thanks to the Vaucluse Chamber of Agriculture, it was diagnosed in 2010, which concluded the need to implement certain measures to reduce vulnerability to floods in the Rhône. This diagnosis was updated in March 2018, followed by the completion of the Emergency Plan and the Operation Restart Plan. The main purpose of the holding is market gardening. The parcel is 15 ha (8 ha of marsh, 5 ha of field crops and 2 ha of apple trees). This farm has experienced numerous floods in the Rhône. Vulnerability reduction measures have already been taken over the years and the financial resources involved. The present operation is the replacement of a surface irrigation pump with a submerged pump not vulnerable to flood risk
