In order to provide full support to young Guyanese in their mobility and practice learning project with a view to their social and professional integration, Peuplen Harmonie has put in place a whole system of ** enhanced support towards socio-professional integration** in line with the EU 2020 Strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth; the latter divided into _two types of actions_: 1\. Accompaniment of young people for an upskilling through a commitment experience in Guyana; 2\. Accompaniment of young people for an upskilling through an international engagement experience. This scheme targets unemployed 18/25 years old. Each young person may, if he wishes, participate in each of the actions. Their participation in the activities of the association allows them to develop skills essential to their professional integration through the practice and discovery of new professions as well as personal (e.g. open-mindedness, tolerance, self-confidence, ability to work as a team and in an intercultural context, etc.). Knowledge and know-how to make it easier for them to move towards new skills training and to have a curriculum vitae particularly valued by employers. In particular, each action is put in place with the aim of acting for sustainable development, social cohesion and European integration. The successful completion of each action requires an important work on the part of the Peupl en Harmonie team. The key step is to establish partnerships with local and European structures and then to set up and organise activities. Moreover, there is a real lack of communication in Guyana. Peupl’en Harmonie is therefore mobilised to give access to information to Guyanese people throughout the country. This is possible in particular through outreach work (InfoCols), communication (creation of documents and presence on social networks), and the important network of local partners on which Peupl en Harmonie relies (village associations, DSU, SOS Group, Mission Locale, Secours Catholique, etc.). Peuplen Harmonie then pursues its actions through the identification and identification of those who are furthest away from employment and with difficulties in social integration. For young Guyanese men who wish to enter the device, Peupl’en Harmonie offers a personalised accompaniment of training, professional immersion and individual interviews. In addition, young people returning to the scheme benefit from a tutor who is a member of the association’s technical team and in some cases a sponsor (former beneficiary of the support scheme). On the other hand, in order to enhance the skills acquired through informal and non-formal education, Peuplen Harmonie gives young beneficiaries _tests of training and certificates of competence_ such as the Youthpass, recognised by the European Union. The benefits of the actions carried out by Peupl en Harmonie have already shown their effectiveness over the years. These young people in difficulties, who are often part of the system without any prospect of the future, are now fully integrated and active in society (e.g. promoters of cultural projects, commitment to the RSMA, in employment in French Guiana or continental Europe, etc.).
