This project will take place in 2020. It has an experimental character in Guyana. Faced with the above-mentioned problems, the National Association Le Refuge wishes to recruit a social worker, counsellor in vocational integration in order to assist young people in their social and vocational rehabilitation process. Its main tasks will be to accompany young people in order to enable them to return to self-esteem and self-confidence; conditions sine qua non has a successful professional integration. Once this is done in collaboration with psychologists and volunteers, our social worker will determine everyone’s desires and desires in order to put in place an individualised return to employment program. Finally, in order to cope with the second difficulty, the long-term rental of a vehicle is envisaged to enable better mobility of young people. The excessive costs of transport in Guyana and the limited number of public transport lines are currently a factor which undermines the integration of young people into employment.
