The aim of the project is to develop Kalajoki region’s service business in the tourist centre and city centre. The project measures include planning and networking of companies and other actors for the development of the service business and investments. The Kalajoki Economic Development Strategy 2014-2025 and the Kalajoki Region Tourism Growth Programme 2015-2025 have selected several development areas that promote the region’s service business as priorities. Kalajoki Centre Service Centre and the Kalajoki Tourism Centre’s sporting experience centre, event hotel, Event Park, Motor World, Horse Village and Marina’s complex are these concrete development targets. The result of the project is studies, plans, marketing materials and measures and follow-up plans for investment and development projects related to the productisation, promotion and creation of service business environments.
