The aim of the project is to promote the internationalisation capabilities and expertise of small and medium-sized enterprises in Kymenlaakso and, in the long term, to generate growth through internationalisation. The aim of the project is to help SMEs with small resources become internationalised, to explore new markets, to remove key obstacles to the start-up of international business. The project also aims at applying new technologies to customer-oriented business development. During the project, effective partnership networks are sought, developed and trained. Subcontracting companies operating in the company’s supplier network will be raised to a higher level and ensure their continuous development and vitality, as well as finding their own new products.The result of the project will be 20 internationalisation plans in which financing and target countries were identified. The international know-how of SMEs in Kymenlaakso has improved and international information on different markets, opportunities and financing has been increased.
