The aim of the project is to increase interaction within the regional economy by supporting intermediate product trade between enterprises in the region (the enterprises in the region purchase inputs from each other) and by activating intra-regional innovation (combined innovations) in order to develop regional competitiveness. Part of the outsourcing of public sector activities, the abandonment of regional specialisation and support for the operating conditions of SMEs are key to diversifying the economic fabric of the region. The focus of the project is the activation of innovation activities between different sectors of Satakunta. The project will increase joint innovation between sectors that otherwise do not deal with each other in their normal business. The main focus is on industrial industries. The project will bring together different sectors, public sector actors and educational institutions, identify the needs of innovation activities and create an operating model in which combined innovations can be created. The project aims to promote innovation, in particular in accordance with the principles of sustainable development.
