The development of the business service voucher system will simplify the procurement of services for businesses, make service provision more dynamic and responsive to the needs of companies, while opening up the possibility of providing services to the widest possible range of operators, in particular private sector companies. New forms of procurement of business services will increase market-based provision of services, increase openness and transparency, and promote customer orientation and comprehensibility of business services. The Innovation voucher project will concretely pilot the innovation voucher in cooperation with SMEs. The areas to be developed include smart mobility, well-being, renewable industries and the promotion of new solutions for smart urban development. The banknote aims to support digitalisation and, for example, the integration of Internet of things and internet of everything into the services purchased with the banknote. The service supported by the banknote is intended to lower the threshold for the use of innovation, internationalisation and growth services. The service must be a significant opening for the company or a step into a new one. The Innovation voucher project will build a functional digital service platform for the banknote and test its use in practice. During the piloting of banknotes, user experience is collected from banknote users, service providers, administrators and stakeholders. During the piloting of the banknote, data will also be collected on its effects on the company’s RDI operations, growth and internationalisation. The aim of the Innovation voucher project is to enable the introduction of the banknote system more widely and during piloting to cooperate with the Ministry of Economic Affairs in particular in relation to the national development of business services.
