POINT 2.0

The aim of the project is to create the conditions for growth in Kokkola micro-enterprises and small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) by implementing growth plans that identify growth challenges and by providing concrete means to support growth. Since the main starting points of a small company’s growth are closely linked to the company’s growth willingness and ability to grow, the project aims to find around 30 genuinely growth-oriented companies in the area, to implement a growth pathway/strategy to enable growth, and to provide the opportunity to support growth in order to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and networks. The aim is to take forward and implement as a project 1-2 development sites relevant to the growth of the company, for example by offering expert-plated theme days/training packages. The project strongly promotes business-to-business partnership and learning from one another, especially through group-specific coaching, also in order to create new innovation interfaces. The growth plan, the expert service included in the purchasing services, as well as peer learning enable multi-level business development supported by the role of Kohtaamo 2.0 as part of a larger project package in cooperation with the KYO Telakka project and the Centria Pilottipooli project.
