6TIME:Intelligent learning environments for the future

6Time: The main objective of the “Smart Learning Environments of the Future” project is to strengthen the business opportunities of companies developing and providing services, products and technologies related to learning, as well as various smart physical and virtual learning environments. Another key objective is to promote the development of user-oriented learning environments in six cities. The third objective is to create a common reference framework for project partners for the co-development of enterprises, research and training organisations, cities and users. In addition, the aim is to develop functional and clear operating models for co-creation, to test them in practice and to describe them. The fourth objective is to highlight in six cities the learning environments open to co-creation for companies and other development actors. Development environments can include primary and secondary schools, kindergartens, polytechnics and universities, various living lab environments, virtual environments and, for example, the whole urban environment. The whole city as a learning environment can include public spaces such as libraries, museums, parks and event areas. The project’s development of learning environment products and services can be divided into six content themes: The measures involve cities, businesses, research and training organisations and end-users.Business opportunities, growth and internationalisation of companies developing learning and learning environments through the project will be improved. Companies can test, receive quick and expert feedback and further develop their products and services in genuine environments based on real needs. New skills, research and training activities related to the development of learning environments will be created in companies, research and training organisations. The project will create new structures and operating models for cooperation between companies, research, education and innovation actors and end-users. The models already in place are becoming even better. Already during the project, the aim is to produce new comprehensive solutions linked to learning environments, as well as new product and service ideas. In the longer term, the project will contribute to the creation of new jobs in companies that develop learning and learning environment solutions.
