The Satakunta DigiHealth project creates an ecosystem related to the competence, development and innovation of digital services and welfare technologies. The ecosystem consists of a wide network of operators and a toolkit that offers a wide range of options for designing, testing, developing and service designing new digital and technological innovations. The project will develop a completely new service path for technology companies to develop new innovations, from product design to early testing, customer testing and commercialisation. The new operating model accelerates and enhances the product development of wellbeing technology companies and the export of services to the market and promotes the development of needs-based and user-friendly technology services. The project promotes the use of welfare technology and digital services in the social and health sector. The functioning of the ecosystem offers new opportunities for social and healthcare actors to develop services and operational processes through technology experiments and more efficient use of health data. The use of digital and technology services in social and healthcare services improves the accessibility, quality and customer experience of the services. The Satakunta DigiHealth ecosystem strengthens skills related to digital and wellbeing technology services and its entry into the workplace. The involvement of users, social and health professionals and students, as well as multi-professional development, strengthen technology-related learning and digital skills. Good capacity to acquire, utilise and develop technology promotes the development of social and health services. The project raises Satakunta’s profile as a province of digitalisation and welfare technology. The project will host local, nationally and international events related to digital social and health care services and welfare technology. The purpose of the events is to highlight the latest research data and present digital solutions and innovations in well-being technology developed in the region.
